Summer Collaboration Sessions
Brief
Build on the previous summer's success of the Skulloon at Secret Garden Party 2022 and craft a summer music experience that can tour the terraces of pubs and bars around the UK, further cementing Beavertown's strong links with music and creativity.
Idea
We programmed 5 one-day, unmistakably Beavertown music events at 5 on-trade venues in 5 cities, and built and designed the iconic Skulloon stages. Each event was headlined by a mash up of musical collaboration between two artists of wildly different genres. London, Manchester, Brighton, Birmingham and Bristol welcomed over 10,000 beer drinkers and featured artists such as Mr Scruff, Maribou State and Barry Can't Swim. Each city's collaborations were captured for social content and plucked from artists that originated in the local area. We also laid on backstage artist interviews and Spotify playlists.
